I am honored to serve as the Executive Director at Azura Palliative Care & Hospice, where my passion for compassionate care, servant leadership, and building meaningful relationships comes to life each day. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Alverno College with a minor in Psychology and I am a Certified Dementia Specialist.

My healthcare journey began as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and each step along the way has shaped the leader I am today. I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of healthcare settings, including CBRFs like Assisted Living and Memory Cares, Home Care, Palliative Care, and Hospice. My experience spans clinical nursing, Executive Director leadership, mentoring and training new Executive Directors as a District Executive Director Mentor, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Hospice Operations leadership. These experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective and a deep appreciation for every member of the healthcare team.

What has remained constant throughout my career is my passion for helping others. I love inspiring, coaching, mentoring, and building teams where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to provide exceptional care. I believe that when we invest in our care team, they are able to make an even greater impact on the lives of the patients and families we serve.

Joining Azura Palliative Care & Hospice felt like coming home because the organization’s mission and values align so closely with my own. Every day, I have the privilege of working alongside an incredible team that is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care while honoring the dignity and wishes of every individual.

I’ve always had a sensitive soul and a heart for caring for others. From an early age, I knew I wanted to be there for people during life’s most vulnerable moments. It is truly a gift and an honor to walk beside patients and families during their hospice journey. I believe hospice is about so much more than end-of-life care—it’s about preserving dignity, creating meaningful moments, offering comfort, and ensuring no one walks this journey alone.

For me, healthcare has never simply been a career; it is my calling. My purpose is to make a positive difference in the lives of our patients, families, community partners, and the incredible team members I have the privilege of serving every day.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me exploring new places through travel, trying new recipes in the kitchen, attending concerts, or spending time outdoors. I enjoy gardening, hiking and walking, relaxing on a patio, and visiting local farmers markets. Above all, I cherish spending quality time with my family, friends, and my beloved furbabies.

I truly believe that life’s greatest joys are often found in the simplest moments—the warmth of the sun on your face, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee, a walk in nature, or sharing laughter with the people you love. Those everyday moments remind me to slow down, appreciate life’s blessings, and carry gratitude into both my personal life and the care I have the privilege of providing each day.
