Julie Northern is the Executive Director of Azura Palliative Care and Hospice WI, LLC.
With over 31 years of experience in the healthcare field, Julie began her career in long-term care before transitioning to hospice care. Over the years, she has held various roles, from Social Worker, Business Development, Health Care Operations, as well as Healthcare Consultant. The past 23 years of her career has focused on hospice business development and operations.
Julie’s personal and professional passion lies in providing exceptional individualized care, supporting individuals in achieving their personal healthcare goals, and advocating for their right to direct their own plan of care. Julie is a firm believer in meeting patients and families where they are in their life’s journey, and ensuring they receive the most compassionate and personalized care that they deserve.
Julie Northern is a lifelong Wisconsin resident and graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she earned her degree in Social Welfare and Sociology. She is married, and has two children. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs, and travelling.
