“My name is Rebecca McNamee and I am a Masters level Social Worker (MSW). I received both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Western Michigan University. My professional experience includes roles in hospice and in outpatient mental health as a therapist. I am here because I have always loved helping people solve conflicts and look for glimmers of meaning. I feel particularly called to help people navigate the raw and difficult moments that happen at the end of life; I believe that there is something profound and sacred about being present during someone’s final days on this Earth. Making meaning, finding joy, and inviting peace are important values to me professionally and personally. A fun fact about me is that I am a total board game nerd! I love any and all strategy games. I also know just about every card game that might be played at a hunting camp.”
