Howard shares, “I have been a hospice Chaplain for the past eleven years, following many rewarding years serving as a pastor in church ministry. Early in life, I experienced God’s love in a way that shaped my life and called me to share that love with others. While there are many ways to fulfill this calling, I have found that hospice care offers a uniquely special opportunity to express it through calming presence, compassionate encouragement, and prayer. It is deeply fulfilling to partner with patients and their loved ones to provide hope during one of the most challenging seasons of life. For personal renewal, I cherish time spent with my family, traveling, dining out, walking, fishing and yard care.”
